    23 Year Anniversary

     

     

    September 5th, 1999.We are celebrating 23 years in our Salon on Town Street, Horsforth.


    Time has never gone so fast, we loved it.

    We started with two floors and extended to three floor within months.

    Happy Days, here’s to the next 23 years .

    Boris Johnson was very clear in his statement today, the 12 July, that the pandemic is not over and that we must all proceed with absolute caution. 

    We have always had an obligation under ‘duty of care’ to ensure the risk assessment of our business reflects the importance we place on the health, safety and hygiene of our businesses, premises, customers and staff and as such following the Prime Ministers statement, this ‘duty of care’ should still be uppermost in our minds.

    COVID 19 update 

    Hi, Thankyou for being there for us. I'm ok and Robert is great too x 

    We are having a meeting today to get the app system going. 

    How we are working it is on a rolling appointment system. 

    This means we pick up exactly as we left off. Week one will be a repeat of the week we broke up etc. All being well we are also doing shifts/longer hours/ more days.

    Please be patient with us, we will do our best. There are a lot of rules and regs for us to be able to provide a service. It will not be what we are all used to!

    COVID 19 ANNOUNCEMENT 

    It is with a heavy heart that we announce that the Horsforth salon is temporarily closed. 

    It is the right thing to do to prevent our wonderful NHS getting swamped. 

    We will review the situation in 3 weeks. 

    Keep in touch with me and if you need a hair chat in the meantime then make contact with me.

    TODAY VICTORIA DERBYSHIRE REMOVED HER HAIRPIECE, REVEALING HER OWN HAIR.

    LIKE VICTORIA, I WORE MY PIECES FOR 18 MONTHS.

    THEY WERE MY LIFE LINE, THEY MADE ME FEEL LIKE  MYSELF. AS SOON AS I PUT MY "HAIR"

    ON, THERE I WAS.....READY TO FACE THE WORLD.

    I KNEW EVENTUALLY I WOULD  HAVE TO REVEAL MY OWN HAIR. I WANTED TO WAIT UNTIL

    I HAD A REASONABLE LENGTH, SO THAT I LOOKED AS THOUGH I HAD A NICE LITTLE URCHIN 

    CUT.

    On the 31st May, at Temple Newsam, Leeds. Renee's Rebels, consisting of 56 beautiful Rebels, ran the race for life. We have raised £10,212.59 for cancer research!
    Without this research and Rebels like my gang, I would not be in the position I am in. The support of family, friends, clients, and people I don't even know, but do now, has been phenomenal.

    We are celebrating 15 years at our lovely salon. Time has flown extremely quickly and you have all played a fantastic and supportive part in making it a success. We couldn't have done it without you!

    I am now nearing the end of my treatment for Breast Cancer. Just a little more until February and that will be it..... HURRAH! x

    I have been making an appearance in the salon as maître de. Slowly introducing myself back Into your Salon Experience, I look forward to seeing you all.

    I would like to take this opportunity to thank every single one of you for all the fabulous support you have shown us since I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am now half way through the CHEMO cycle (sounds like the Tour de France) just another three to go.

    Many of you have experienced similar, and I'm sure far worse, and know what we're going through. We wish you all the very best in life and live each day as if it were your FIRST.

    If we can help at all, with our experience of this and our professional expertise in our field, please don't hesitate to contact us. We will be only too pleased to offer help and advice at this very difficult time.

    The cards and gifts, cakes and chocs ..... It's like Christmas! The prayers and kind words are immeasurable. We love them all.

    So, a very big "THANK YOU" to all my lovely friends, old and new. Adrian is overwhelmed by the amount of kindness you have all shown and is quite taken with it all.
    And me, well I'm speechless. (that makes a change).
